Giant Inflatable Monsters Invasion

The rooftops of Slough are due for a surprising transformation for the summer break.  Some of Slough’s best-known buildings have been given a monstrous makeover by Designs In Air.  To celebrate the summer holidays, bring your ‘little monsters’ to Slough as we welcome our ‘giant monsters’ and witness the carnival of chaos they unleash upon our Town Centre.

Slough’s invasion is due to start on 12^th August in the heart of Slough Town Centre.  Giant inflatable monsters with budging eyes and colourful tentacles will take residence on Slough’s landmark buildings: The Porter Building, The Future Works, Queensmere Shopping Centre, Aston Bond and The Brickhouse.

The installations are the brainchild of Designs In Air.

Designs in Air is a British inflatable design company founded by artists Luke Egan and Pete Hamilton AKA Filthy Luker & Pedro Estrellas.  Over 3 decades Designs in Air has worked on incredibly diverse projects for clients such as Cirque du Soleil, the London 2012 Paralympics, the New York Aquarium, Greenpeace, Glastonbury, Fuji Rock and Lollapalooza festivals to name but a few
